The Best Acid Spot

The best location for extracting acid is at Hemlock Holes Maintenance in Toxic Valley. This location allows you to place three acid extractors which will grant you 30 waste acid every half-hour.

Acid is used in unrefined gunpowder and Lemonade, which was added in the Wild Appalachia update.

The Best Aluminum And Nuclear Material Spot

Aluminum is used as a base resource for many crafting projects.

If you’re looking to extract the maximum amount of aluminum, then the Red Rocket Mega Stop workshop in the Savage Divide is your best option.

With three aluminum deposits, you can extract up to 45 Aluminum ore every forty-five minutes once you have taken over the workshop.

This workshop also has a Uranium deposit which allows you to collect up to 25 nuclear material per hour.

Nuclear Material is used to make plasma cores, power armor, weapon mods, and certain weapons like the Tesla Rifle.

The Best Black Titanium Spot

A rare but useful resource, Black titanium can be found at Gorge’s Junkyard workshop, where you can place an extractor to collect up to 20 black titanium per hour.

Gorge’s Junkyard also offers junk and concrete resource locations if you need those additional resources.

Black Titanium is required to craft the Excavator Power Armor as well as the Cultist Blade.

The Best Concrete Spots

If you’re going to be building up your base, you’ll need plenty of concrete to do so.

You can earn up to 99 concrete per hour by taking over the Abandoned Bog Town workshop in Cranberry Bog and putting down three extractors on the concrete resource sites to help you farm.

Just be careful of the Goliath Behemoth and the Super Mutants protecting the workshop when you first arrive.

Concrete can be crafted into bulk concrete for simpler storage.

Additional resources available at this workshop are silver, acid, oil, gold, food, and water.

The Best Coal Spots

Northeast of the Mount Blair workshop is a great coal deposit where you can place your camp.

This gives you easy access to the resources you need earning you around 25 coal per hour, plus it puts you right at a great workshop where you can obtain many other ores as well.

Coal is needed to produce a Water Filter and is also used to craft the Scaly skin serum.

The Best Copper Spot

Dabney Homestead is located in the dark area of The Mire swamplands.

This little farm is a great resource location if you’re seeking copper. With three copper resource extractors you can place, each producing up to 20 copper ore per hour, you will be able to quickly build up your supply.

Copper can be used for crafting hundreds of items on the workbench.

The Best Crystal And Gold Spot

A great location for placing an extractor to obtain crystal and gold is Billing’s Homestead, where you can extract crystal, copper, gold, fertilizer, food, and water.

Crystal is a unique resource used in the crafting of high-end and more complicated modifications for weapons, such as laser devices and scope mods.

It is also used in crafting power armor, some types of ammunition, camera mods, and camera film. Gold is useful to have when adding to your camp and when crafting weapon mods.

A great location to collect fertilizer is from Sunshine Meadows Industrial Farm where you can collect up to 75 per hour with the three available resource extraction sites.

The Best Iron Spot

The best location to farm iron extractors is in Toxic Valley at Grafton Steel. Grafton Steel has four iron deposits, allowing you to extract up to 80 steel scraps every thirty-six minutes.

If you want to slay enemies, you’ll likely want to use some ammunition to do it. The primary ammo resource in the game is lead. Junk piles give you just that, a bunch of random junk that you can scrap to turn into various different components you’ll need for crafting.

To the right of Black Bear Lodge, you can set up camp and extract not only up to 25 lead per hour but also up to 10 pounds of junk per hour.

The Beckley Mine Exhibit grants you three oil extraction locations to collect up to 25 oil per hour.

This location also has a crystal and gold extraction spot, so you can add even more valuable resources to your collection.

Beckley Mine Exhibit is also close to Welch Train Station which allows you an ample opportunity to sell items to the vendor to collect caps.

The Best Silver Spot

If you’d like to gather up to 90 silver scraps every hour and a half you can take over the Tyler Country Dirt Track workshop where there are three extractor locations available.

In addition to these silver resources, there are also fertilizer, junk, iron, and aluminum extractor resources inside the dirt track.

This location also gives you a convenient free travel location to the Northwest region of the Forest.
